Over the past 50 years or so, Oldham, its people and their development have always been an important part of my life. I have enormous pride in Oldham, but I recognise that only by a focus, particularly on it’s young people and their development, their training, their care and their needs, will they evolve to become the chosen planners, leaders and bread winners of the future
