Award Entry Guide
Get to grips with the four key steps to submitting an award-winning entry for the Oldham Business Awards and make your application stand out.

“To stand out, award entries should be clear, well structured and supported by evidence. We’re looking for strong examples of achievement, leadership and improvement, backed up by results and real-world impact. The best entries are those that explain not just what has been achieved, but how and why. Focus on outcomes, be specific, and don’t be afraid to showcase your successes. A thoughtful, well-prepared entry will always rise to the top.”

“I’m incredibly honoured to receive the Business Person of the Year award. The application process itself was a valuable experience, as it pushed me to reflect on our journey, our values, and the positive impact Cornerstone Estates & Lettings has within Oldham. Being thorough in that process reminded me how far we’ve come and why our work matters, which makes this recognition even more meaningful.”
